2022 Waccamaw Siouan Pow Wow

The Waccamaw Siouan Tribe invites the public to share in their 50th year of "Celebrating Culture and Traditions" during the 50th Annual Waccamaw Siouan Pow Wow. The event will be held on Friday, October 21st and Saturday, October 22, 2022 on the Waccamaw Siouan Tribal Grounds in the Buckhead Community of Bolton, NC.


The general admission fee is $8.00 for School Day (Friday) which also covers Friday night admission, $5.00 for Friday night only, and $8.00 on Saturday. Adults sixty two (62) years and older are $5.00 on Saturday and children four (4) years and under will be admitted for free. 


During the two day event Waccamaw Siouan History, Traditional foods, American Indian Dance  Competition, Drumming Competition, and Gospel Singing will be taking place. Over $14,000.00 will be awarded in Competition Prize Money. There will be a special "Veterans Honoring Ceremony" held on  Saturday, October 19th. We invite all Veterans, Native American and  Non-Native American, to come join us during this event and and participate in the Parade on Saturday.

9:00 A.M - 2:00 P.M School Day Activities (schools must be registered to participate).
