2024 Waccamaw Siouan Pow Wow

The Waccamaw Siouan Tribe invites the public to share in their 52nd year of "Celebrating Culture and Traditions" during the Annual Waccamaw Siouan Pow Wow. The event will be held on Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th on the Waccamaw Siouan Tribal Grounds in the Buckhead Community of Bolton, NC.


The general admission fee is $8 for School Day (Friday) which also covers Friday night admission, $5 for Friday night only (after 4:00pm), and $10 on Saturday. Children four (4) years old and under will be admitted for free. Dancer registration is $10 and drum registration is $25.


During the two day event Waccamaw Siouan History, Traditional foods, American Indian Dance Competition, Drumming Competition, and Gospel Singing will be taking place. There will be a special "Veterans Honoring Ceremony" held on Saturday. We invite all Veterans, Native American and Non-Native American, to come join us during this event and participate in the Parade on Saturday.

9:00 A.M. - Craft Traders Open 

9:00 A.M - 2:00 P.M. - School Day Activities (schools must be registered to participate).
